A dental technician, also known as a dental technologist, is responsible for designing, constructing and repairing a variety of dental devices

Dental laboratory technology is the art, science and technology of designing and manufacturing corrective devices for and replacements of natural teeth. A dental laboratory technician communicates and collaborates with the dentist to plan, design and fabricate dental prostheses for individual patients.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of medicine and traces its roots to Vedic times. It is based on the curative properties of herbs, and its treatments are known for the natural elements they contain.

Responsibilities

  • 1. undertake all aspects of prosthetic work including making bites and special trays,casting, mouth guards and retainers
  • 2. create accurate models from doctors' impressions
  • 3. restore natural teeth by fabricating crowns and bridges and applying them to complex implant units and implant-borne restorations
  • 4. construct partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal) to replace the partial or total loss of teeth
  • 5.replace missing facial and body tissues due to injury, disease or developmental abnormality by fabricating maxillofacial prostheses
